Help and FAQ
How Telefans works, from signing up to your first PPV, and what’s still to come.
Getting started
- How do I sign up?
- Press Start free and sign in with Google. Your account is free, with no card, and opens on the Dashboard with your vault ready (10 GB of storage).
- What is the Telegram add-on?
- It’s what sells on Telegram: the inbox, PPVs sent right in your DMs, each fan’s ledger (what they got and what they bought), earnings and live sale alerts, and a vault of 150 GB. It costs €149.99 a month. Subscribe from Billing or any page it unlocks.
- How do I connect my bot?
- Once the add-on is on, setup takes you through it step by step. Let our setup bot create a bot for you in a couple of taps, or make one yourself in Telegram’s BotFather with our guide: turn on its Secretary Mode, then paste its token, which we check straight away. The bot is yours: Telefans sends through it, so your messages and PPVs reach fans as coming from you.
- How do I give my bot access to my chats?
- In the Telegram app on your phone, open My Profile → Chat Automation, add your bot, choose which chats it can see, and turn on Read Messages, Reply to Messages and Mark Messages as Read (everything else can stay off). Then tap Save: nothing changes until you do. Use the phone app: Telegram Desktop has a bug that sometimes doesn’t save bot permissions. No Telegram Premium needed. Setup sees the link as it happens and says if a permission is missing.
- What shows in the inbox?
- Your DMs from the chats your bot can see, from the moment you connect it, newest first. Older messages can’t show: Telegram doesn’t give bots a chat’s history. You reply as yourself, and fans see their usual chat with you; they never see Telefans.
- How do I send a PPV?
- In a conversation, pick 1 to 10 photos or videos from your vault (or drop new ones on the chat), set a price from 1 to 25,000 Stars, add a caption, and press Send. Fans unlock it with Stars, paid straight to your own bot; we never hold them and take no cut. Telegram only lets a bot write to a fan who wrote in the last 24 hours, so a chat that’s been quiet longer waits for their next message. Forwarding and saving are off by default, and before you send we say if the fan already has an item.
- What can go in the vault?
- Photos (JPEG, PNG or WebP) up to 10 MB and videos (MP4 or MOV) up to 50 MB, the most a bot can send on Telegram. Sort them into folders, and tag them. A video Telegram can’t play as it is gets a ready copy by itself. With the add-on, each item shows how often it was sent, who bought it and what it earned.
The add-on and billing
- What does it cost?
- €149.99 a month, billed monthly in euros through Stripe. Your account, the vault and Billing stay free. We take no cut of what fans pay you.
- How do I cancel?
- In Billing, Manage subscription opens Stripe’s customer portal, where you cancel, change your card and find your invoices. A cancelled add-on runs until the end of the month you paid for, and isn’t renewed.
- What happens when it ends?
- Only the add-on’s features stop: the inbox, PPVs and earnings wait until you subscribe again. Nothing is deleted. Your vault, chats and sales are kept, your bot keeps saving messages, and fans can still unlock PPVs you already sent.
- What if a payment fails?
- Stripe tries again over the next days, and the add-on stays on meanwhile. Billing says the payment failed, with a way to update your card. If Stripe gives up, the add-on ends as above.
- Can I get a refund?
- See Refunds for the add-on, credits and disputed payments.
Credits (coming soon)
- What are credits for?
- Generating images, videos and voice with AI in the Studio, which is coming soon. Results land in your vault, marked as AI-generated for you; fans see no label.
- How will they work?
- In one-time packs, never a subscription, and they never expire. Each generation shows its price before you start, and one that fails costs nothing: its credits come back by themselves. The packs aren’t on sale yet.
Chat automation (coming soon)
- What is chat automation?
- A separate add-on we’re planning, which would chat with your fans as you while you decide when it runs. It isn’t built or sold yet, and its page in the app says so. Until then nothing reaches a fan unless you press Send.
Data and privacy
- What do you keep, and for how long?
- Your vault and sales records stay until you delete them; saved chats are kept while your account is active. Files are stored privately and encrypted, and your bot’s token is encrypted too. Chat data is never used to train AI models. The privacy policy has the details.
- How do I delete things?
- Delete vault items, one or many, from the vault at any time. To delete all your saved chats or your whole account, write to us through Contact and we do it within 30 days; deleting them is coming to Settings (Data and privacy). To stop your bot seeing a chat, take the chat off its list in Telegram, under My Profile → Chat Automation.
- Can my fans see Telefans?
- No. Fans only see their usual chat with you, and paid media arrives as a message from you. Telefans isn’t affiliated with Telegram.
